Here's a pretty neat article on the new Mustang, GTO, and Charger.

http://automobilemag.com/reviews/coupes/0508_charger_mustang_gto/index.html

On a side note, who else has a thing for the new Magnum SRT-8?  Damn do
I have the hots for that thing!  Now if only they'd offer it with a
manual transmission.

I fell madly in lust with an 05 F-One Fitty 4x4 this week.
It was jacked up, nice meats, great sound, extended cab and loads of
options.

if I could afford the payments, I would swap my stang for it in a minute.
I'm ready for a change.

Kate, what year Cobra do you have?  How many miles on the odometer?
Anything prompting a switch in vehicles?

I wouldn't mind having a pickup too.  It would be extremely handy for
the Lowes and nursery runs!  If it weren't a Lightning, I'd probably
just get a standard 2-wheel drive 1/2 ton, midsize or mini as a back-up
vehicle.  I don't think I could stand feeding one of those big 4-by
monsters.  Especially with gas prices on the climb.  Which brings me to
a point.  If you're serious about a big truck, you might want to hold
off a while.  If gas prices continue to rise, these trucks might soon
be able to be picked up for CHEAP from owners who can no longer
afford/or don't want to pay the gas to drive them.  Case in point: a
friend I work with.  Him and his wife are looking to dump a newer
Expedition because fill-ups have become to expensive.  In about their
3-4 years ownership, the Expedition has gone from a "primary" vehicle
for her, to a back-up (they own three cars), to For Sale.

1998 Drop Top

How many miles on the odometer?
about 70k

I miss having a 4WD that's MINE and I can't really drive the Cobra like I
used to out in California.
Looking for something I can have a little fun in the country with. meaning
PLAY IN THE MUD, haul a few plants or whatever. Make a Tonka Toy out of it.

We have an F250 Super Duty... can you say b-o-r-i-n-g.
It carried heavy stuff, but I don't want a truch to really haul anything, I
just love trucks. Gas engines and auto trannys and 4x4 shift on the fly.
Short bed half tons.. oh yea! All for fun.

It's no worse than my Cobra, trust me, not really enough to notice.

Oh, I cannot afford one anyway, I was just sniffing the new off of it a
little LOL.

I can understand that.
