I picked up my Liberty yesterday. They had to bring it all the way from
Kansas city.

Someone was test driving my Mustang before we even finished the deal and
went home.
I sure hope that whoever gets her, takes care of her and has a ton of fun
with her.

Then, I went on home, and rather than driving up the driveway, I cut through
the field and over the embankment to go see one of my neighbors.
*snikker* this is gonna be fun!

You've got #5 for that.  He's not as quick, but give the guy some
credit.  What's next, Kate, an "it's a Jeep thing" sticker?

THAT was not f.cking cool.
It's one thing to kid about cars, but do NOT talk sh.t like that about my
daughters - ever.

That was way out of line.

Hey, whoa... it was metaphorical.  Your baby, the car.  Easy there Kate.
My sincerest apologies for inadvertantly pushing a button I shouldn't
have.  My humor is vulgar, but -never- meant to go places like that.

I understand your reaction, Kate, even though I don't have them myself.
But if I ever had daughters, I'd be the father from the "Clueless"
movie (yes, I watched it): "I've got a .45 and a shovel.  I doubt
anybody would miss you."

You've been one of my favorite people in here to joke around with and
talk to.  I would never say such things.  Glad to hear you're happy with
your new acquisition.  Had to get one from KC, huh?  You must be way out
there, and/or the employee pricing thing has them in short supply.

It's called a midlife anti-crisis. Rare, but not unheard of.

Cutting grass on that riding mower is going to be a real pain with
ruts all across the yard...

You'll be ok to go across some grass and dirt, but don't try any
serious 4-wheeling in that thing.  You'll get stuck and/or you'll
break it.

You are going to love the utility of this vehicle.  I started driving
Explorers years ago and found them to be so versatile that I don't want
any other type of vehicle.  Except for a convertible GT500. :)
