Just bought a '98 Cobra that is 'bare-bones' stock  Now I want to start
adding some things and was wondering if anyone here has used a Tuner
(Superchips, Diablo, whatever) and if it actually did improve the horsepower
or was it just not worth it.  Thanks for your help!!

    www.svtperformance.com.

Check our the sn-95 forum and post your question there. Its a very good
forum made up primarily of cobra owners.

From what I gather, 4:10 rear gears are the best bang for buck mod.

That, and I can say from experience that this car will easily hit redline
before it runs out of breath.  My '97 pulls strong to the rev limiter on its
stock 3.27 gears.  4.10s in a 5.0 will probably make 1st gear seem silly,
but 4.10s in this car should just be a bit short... but still useful.  If I
keep the car (contemplating a new Cobra when the hoopla over the initial
release dies down), I'll probably go 4.10s.
