Any suggestions on how I can "repair" my stock vinyl convertible top so it
won't rip off the top of my car this winter?

I am planning to replace it this spring.

Thanks!

Steve

You need to be a bit more specific as to what the problem is...
latches? top stretched with age? cut/ripped/torn (and where)?

If it's marginal now, I'd replace it BEFORE winter rather than deal with
all the hassles of leakage/breakage when it's cold outside.  A
convertible top is enough of a hassle in the winter when it's "working
fine".  It can make your life miserable if it's cracked or leaking and
it's 20F outside.

Cheers,
