A friend of mine has a pretty nice '05 V-6 Mustang. He says that one of
the mechanics at the local Ford dealiership (Jim Keay Ford, Orleans,
Ontario, Canada) has told him that the optional '01 GT (Bullitt) rims
won't fit on his car because they will interfere with the brake
calipers. Does anyone know if this is true?

Thanks in advance,
Richard ('65 fastback, GT-350 clone)

It is my understanding their are offset differences between the SN-95
and S197 wheels. A 17" Bullitt-styled wheel is available for the new V6
Mustangs via the "pony Package" option. Also, I would imagine those same
wheels can simply be bought and immediately used. They are standard on
the new V8 Mustang GTs.
