The Drivers side front window does not want to go down. I'd rather not tear the door apart, if it's just the switch, but I can't seem to make heads or tails of the switch panel. Is there a wiring diagram out there anywhere? Neither the Chiltons, nor the Haynes manuals cover it. I have the Ford 1989 electrical manual. what are you looking for, color codes? It's too large for me to scan. On my '89 'stang it was just dirty contacts. Opened the switch, cleaned them and put electrical contact grease on them. Brian It's been 6 years, but I think it was 4 tabs that are just bent over to hold the base into the switch. The LH Front window motor shows w/bk and Y wires. Disconnecting the switch and applying 12v to these two wires would/should power the motor up or down.Feeding the switch is P (ink) for positive and B(lack) ground.
