is there any real benefits to adding a hypertech power module to speed
density 86 lx 5-speed or any problems with this upgrade input would be

No.  Save your money and just bump the timing up to between 13-15
degrees advanced.

My car, 93GT, came with a Superchip in it.

Take out the octane bar - manually advances the timing - and the thing did nothing. In fact, it slowed down the car. When I took it out, and bumped the timing manual (with the timing bar in it still) the thing ran great!  But in hot weather it KNOCKS!  When the temp goes up, so does the grade of gas... but most days I can run 87.
