I've got a mach 1 under the dash wire harness I want to clean up. Is
there a solution I can use to soak the harness?

I would suggest a good vinyl upholstery cleaner... whatever you use, test
on a single wire to see if it softens the insulation.

If it does that, the insulation will likely harden and crack, later.
