Howdy all,

I have put in a new battery and need to know aside from checking oil
level, coolant , transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid
levels is there anything else to do before I turn it over for the first
time in so long?

Any help appreciated.

Stan

what year of car is i? i know if it was mine i would unplug the coil
wire on a points car, or unplug the fuel pump fuse on injected, and
crank it over a few times for 30 or so seconds to pump some oil around
before starting it. if is a port injected i would crank it for the
oil, then put the fuel pump fuse back in, then turn the key on and off
a couple times to pressurize the fuel line, then open the shrader
valve on the injector line and purge the old gas out.
before doing anything check the air hoses and filter housing for mouse
or birds nests.
