How do you remove the windshield trim.  Is there a special tool for
doing it?  Please provide details on the tool and the process.  Also,
how do you remove the chrome piece behind each door.  I don't even know
what to call it.  It is about 12 inches long and 3 inches wide and sits
in the indent about a foot behind each door.  Thanks!

Yes there is a special tool. You can buy them at most good auto parts store.
They are thin sheet metal with a hook shape at the end.
There are a bunch, (HINT a Ford Shop manual will tell you how many) of clips
under the trim.  You stick the tool between the trim and the weatherstrip.
Push up till you touch the sheet metal opening around the glass and slide
the tool until you feel the hook engage a clip. Pull the clip towards the
center of the windshield.  You will need to wiggle things and swear a little
to find the clips and get them to release.

To remove the quarter trim piece you must remove the back seat side panel.
To remove that panel requires removing the back seat.
It is held on with several nuts.

Your welcome
