Help !!!

I just bought a new Mustang GT. It has the Shaker 500 Audio System. I
have not been able to find any helpful info on the system. The owners
manual is useless. I would like to know where the auxilary input is
located. I don't see any inputs on the front of the radio......

Thanks, Ron

That's because ther arn't any. ;-) The Shaker 500 is crud. It's a dime
store CD player with mediocre speakers and lousy amps. My suggestion
would be to trade up to something, anything else.

I replaced my Shaker 500 last week with a Panasonic CQ-VD6503U from
Crutchfield. It was an easy install and sounds great coupled with some
new speakers and amps.

To each his own I guess. I'm quite happy with the 500 in my vert. The
sound is far better than the Pioneer DEH6400 coupled with Pioneer
6"x9" speakers in my old 95. Granted, it does not have many config
options but I like the clean look and easy to operate controls as well
as I do the sound it produces...

Ditto. My only gripe with it is that the mute button does not pause the
CD. Why on Earth there is no pause button is beyond me.

Hey, don't grip. The CD player on my 93GT is a joke. To advance songs you
have to reach around and across the shifter! It's friggin crazy. But if I
want to get to all the unusual functions I never use, they are right there
on the driver side. C'mon Ford. Man....!
