I just joined this group, restoring a 69 mach 1 428 CJ, I purchased a
69 inst. cluster with tach off E-bay about three months ago, seems to
be in good shape.  Will I have to change wiring harness, or can the one
I have have be modified without to much trouble?  This Mustang will not
be completly original but clost to it.  I am making it my mustang to
drive and have fun with.  At this point the car is nothing but a shell,
ready to replace the rusted panels in it.  Thanks for any input

Odds are the wires for the tach are there, just not used.

If not, just add the wires you need and run them following the stock
wiring harness and you should be fine.
