What is the factory rear end gear ratio for an '86 GT with the 5 speed manual? Thanks > What is the factory rear end gear ratio for an '86 GT with the 5 speed > manual? LR, It's either 2.73s or 3.08s. Check inside the driver's side door jam. On the build sticker if the "axle code" lists a "Z" they're 3.08s.
