Read somewhere about a factory installed rev limiter on early '70, '71
Mustangs.  How can I tell if my car has one other than the obvious way
which is not always practical?

Two ways???  On the passanger fender there will be the rev limiter if you
have one, right near the top.  Second way, petal to the metal, if it tops
out at about 6250, you have a Rev limiter.  Note, in some vehicles lacking
the HP, this may have to be done in neutral :-)
