Unlike the GM small-block you may be familiar with,
the 351 has a taller deck than the 302.

Major issues, dictated by the taller deck height of the 351:
Induction choices and hood clearance.
Headers.

Minor issues with front engine dress.

Transmission, the T5 won't last long behind the 351.

What year 351 do you have and from what vehicle ?
Do you want to retain the stock style SEFI induction ?
Do you need to pass emissions ?

The GT40 lower with a low profile upper ('94-95 Cobra) "might"
fit under a stock hood.

Heh, Then send me all the EFI stuff your yanking off of it. I'm looking to
go EFI on my 351W. :)

Transmissions are rated in foot-pounds of torque, not horsepower.
The highest rating I've seen on a T5 is 300 ft/lbs. Good luck with
that.

You will need a rear sump oil pan and oil pickup from a 351 from an
'80s-on full size (ie Crown Vic). A truck part will not work.
You will need a 28 oz balance flywheel, available from Ford.
You will need an AC/PS bracket. Most other front dress will swap.

Kind of a shame to not go EFI ... The GT40 lower is the way to go.
I think there a bit of work in adapting the
car's ignition and fuel system for the carb.
