Hey guy’s new user.  Been reading a bit about 87 rangers as i’m
looking at getting one.  A guy I work with is selling his for 1000$
Canadian.  But I have a few questions.

Is there anything I should be aware of that would need to be replaced
(or ask if it was replaced) ?

Any common problems?

IS that a decent asking price?

Thanks

manual or auto ?

what engine ?

probably a 2.9, which is a nice powerplant

the A4LD automatic is great, if it has been maintained

It’s always good to ask any question that you can think of when buying
a new car/truck.Such as any engine or trans. problems in the past
maybe ask about any repairs that have been made as well.

For the price it would depend on the shape it’s in the miles.Hope this
gives you some idea
