Is anyone getting even the lowest stated fuel economy on the F-150? The
range for mine is given as 15-21 hwy, although new and not "broken" in yet I
think I am getting approx. 13 hwy.

My 1998 with 104,000 miles on it gets 18 mpg.

04 F150 w/5.4 and 3.55 gears, 11000 miles and I get maybe 14 on the road.
But then, I didn't buy it for its fuel economy either...

That isn't very good. I get 13 mpg when towing my 3500 pound
pop-up trailer. 2004 F-150 4x4 5.4L 3.73 gears.

I just purchased a 2005 Ford, F250, powerstroke 4x4. Got 300 miles on it
now. Made a 160 mile trip with it. Drove it at 60 mph, then 75, then down to
50 at various speeds for 15 or so minutes. In other words varied my speeds
for breakin purpose.
Filled her up this morning and got 18.9 miles per canadian gal.
Your gal has 3.8 litres and a Canadian gal has 4.5 litres. So roughly that
would be around 17 mpg.
Also driving into a 20 mph wind coming home.

I get 18 to 20 mpg with my 2004 F-150 4x4 with the 5.4L Triton.

I get 18-20 with my 94 ranger with a 4 banger in it! I just had to throw
that in...

I was surprised that a truck as big as mine could hit 20 mpg.
I have even had it hit 21 mpg on some stretches of I-70
that are level for a long distance. The mileage falls off
when I start encountering any hills.
