OH GAWD!!!  I can't stand the commercials with Snoop Dog.  How
retarded do they think we are?!  Makes me wonder how desperate they
are to sell vehicles.

Me too, that's really bad.  I can't understand a work Snoop says.  Can't
believe Iacocca agreed to do that with him, I mean really, Iacocca speaks
English, no idea what the "dawg" speaks..

Yeah, I got that part.  But those were the ONLY words I understood
that freak to say.

They must have paid Iococca a butt load to appear with that freak
snoop.  Or, they filmed them separately, didn't tell Iococca, then
superimposed him in later, or Iococca has lost his marbles and doesn't
realize what he's done.

I know about that one.  They made a deal for the foundation that works with
the diabetes that killed his wife.  I don't think he received any direct
compensation for the ads.

At least they are not so annoying as the same kia commercial you see 10
times a night over and over again  for the last 16 months or so

The first 3 times they were kinda funny

Not after watching it for 3.129.879 times.

My favorite recent one was a Jeep Grand Cherokee commercial when the Jeep is
covered in mud and the family arrives home to a lovely middle-class
white-clapboard home, complete with picket fence and beautiful garden.
Everyone gets out, and the Jeep then shakes like a wet dog, slinging mud
everywhere and on everything until it is clean as a whistle and the lovely
home, garden and family are covered in mud.

I think it's more about the audience they are appealing to these days.

Have you seen the Burger King "One Nation under Chicken Fries" commercials?

It's bad enough to make me stop eating at Burger King.

I agree spdloader.  The are obviously pandering to a certain audience.
I work in the resort industry and have noticed who, by and large,
drive the 300.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.  I just
find it insulting for a respected auto maker to use such a slimy
person to pitch their products.  And, I'm not referring to Iococca.
Let's be realistic, snoops been busted with drugs, and he's a primary
character seen in the Girl's Gone Wild videos.   He's just such a
slimeball.

I completely agree.
