There is a problem with your airbag system, probably disabling the system.
An '03 is probably still under warranty, take it to the dealer.

This might help

Under both front seats is a yellow connector for the pre
tensioners,disconnect them and reconnect them again to clean contacts

36  Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Battery or Ignition
36  Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Ground
36  Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance High .
36  Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance Low

To be sure which one you need the dtc that comes with it

Before you wanna fix this, depending on what state you're in , you usually
have 5/50 warranty on airbag stuff
Check with your dealer
