Have a leaky front gas tank on my 1987 F250. I have run it dry and am
ready to replace it. It looks like only 2 bolts (on the strap) to
drop the tank, that plus the filler neck connection.
Any thing that I should watch out for, any tips would be appreciated.

No guarantee that it's the better way to do it.... but sometimes it is
easier to pull the bed off to change the tank. I'd at least look at the
possibility.

Drop that drive shaft. You'll save a butt load of cussing getting that
filler neck reconnected and the lines off.
