98 ranger chime problem 30 minute intervals

i need some help. i have a 98 ranger xlt. great truck, but when i start
the truck and start to go, it starts chiming in 5 groups of 5 every 30
minutes for the duration of the trip no matter how long the trip is. i
have been to 2 dealers and one repair shop and none has a clue. any help
will be appreciated.

Don,

I remember reading your post awhile back, July 7th I believe. It didn't
register at the time but today I was looking at my sunvisor (93 Probe)
and noted a sticker that described 5 beeps. It states that 5 beep
warnings indicate the airbag needs service. You might want to look on
your drivers sunvisor and see if the info sticker is there also.
