i  am thinking  of trading my truck -2000 f150 supercab 4x2  for a 2003
supercrew 4x2

the 2000 has  a 4.2  engine and the 2003 has the 5.4  and i wanted to know
the reliablity  of  those engines and the  difference in   gas mileage.

thanks

5.4 is a good motor but it is a bigger engine and a heavier truck too
so do not expect the MPG to be any better overall as it will laikely
be a bit worse.
