So I have a 2000 Ford Ranger and the fan for the climate control only
works on the highest setting or on off.  The two inbetween speeds do
not work, the fan acts as if it is off.  Everything else works fine.  I
found a replacement climate control module and hooked that up to the
original brackets and wires and thought that might be the problem.
Nope, I am still getting only off and High for the fan speeds.  Anyone
know what might be my problem.  Much appreciated.

Where would the blower motor resistor be?  Is it an easy access fix?

It's in the air plenum.  Look for something in the air plenum with several
wires coming out of it.  I have no idea where it is on your truck.
