I'm not sure, but the Recreational version is likely to have interior panels to cover the sheet metal. I would suggest that ANY vehicle would benefit from an $800 air conditioner, especially in the desert. In many areas, a vehicle without A/C can not be sold because nobody wants it. I think you should consider A/C as standard equipment, and if it isn't standard, then you must order it.
