e-150 recreational price $26535-commercial price $23280=$3255!!!

what accounts for the 3255 difference? the specs seem the same and
that's a (*&& (*!!X@X^%^
of soundproofing

does the higher weight payload package give a base for a sport
suspension mod or is it more buckboard only?

how's the limited slip work? is a locking axle more on the road more
effective?

can the truck pull a 2500 lb trailer with the lower axle ratios?

does the truck need the $800 a/c for desert travel?

what mileage does a 150 get out on the road at 55?

I'm not sure, but the Recreational version is likely to have interior panels
to cover the sheet metal.

I would suggest that ANY vehicle would benefit from an $800 air conditioner,
especially in the desert. In many areas, a vehicle without A/C can not be
sold because nobody wants it. I think you should consider A/C as standard
equipment, and if it isn't standard, then you must order it. In any case,
you will certainly enjoy it/wish you had it when the temp is 100+.

I would also consider at least a E250 because the rear suspension in a
E150 is pretty light duty and even a E250 is not the match of a F250
in rear suspension but better than a E150 and this would help a lot
towing.

Jeff-

ford now runs a rebate for the commercial cargo interiors, one type
offering wall covering only no racks or bins is fiber covered by
plastic film and an aluminum foil insulation at $1000+ at no purchase
cost
1000+ for fiber? maybe the $3k is russian birch and carbon foam?
ford sales fell dramatically in january but i was dissappointed to
read commercial van sales were up.
one a/c is standard, one costs $800 more including an aux heater atop
a wheel well.

Pay $800 for the life support systems, you will be happy you did. More
accurately, you will wish you did if you don't.
