the door latch area on the rear edge of your door. You will probably
find a small hole that an extension tube can fit in. Then open and
close the door several times after cleaning.

I coated the piss outa the latch and area with wd-40. open and closed many
times and so far it seems to be working. Ill try again tomarrow and see how
well it works. i think this solved the problem.

Well, you shouldn't be using WD-40, because it attracts dust. use
graphite instead. Dust will clog up the switch again and you will be in
the same pickle far too soon.

Hmmm, good tip. Just last weekend, my interior lights and door ajar
indicator were stuck on for a few seconds a couple times but started
working again before I could figure out why. I figured that the problem
would come back eventually. I'll give the switches a spray.
