Ford's version of the GM Target engines are pretty good,
and often you may be surprised at the price, as well as the warranty..
Stay far far away from autozone, Advnaced Auto parts and their ilk.
the warranties arent worth the paper they are writen on, and the quality
sucks.
I have had decent luck with ATK engines.
I have heard others like the Jaspers, but I've never personaly
delt with them.

I'll put a vote in for the jasper engines. 3 yr 75,000 mile warranty won't
be beat by other rebuilders. A might bit pricy however. You should be able
to get someone to install a Jasper for $2200 to $2700. Go to
www.jasperengines.com and find a preferred installer in your area and then
call them for a quote.

Wow. I've never heard of these guys, but it's a good warranty if they
actually stand behind it.

I haven't bought anything from either one of them, just found them with
an Internet search. Might be worthwhile calling their toll free numbers
and seeing how they act though.
