I'm thinking about buying a used one, '99 up to around '05. Haven't decided
on what year yet.

Anyone know of any good year / bad year, what year to stay away from and
that sort of thing?

Thanks in advance,

Avoid the models with the 32V....or at least check to be sure it doesn't
have burned valves.

If you buy a 32V model, burn 92 octane.

My wife is a Navigator nut for some reason and has owned three of them since
2001.
I'd avoid the earlier ones (up to 2002, I think) because the suspension
systems on them were absolutely horrid.  The thing floated like a barge.
The later ones (I think starting in 2003) have a much better suspension, a
bit stiffer, but still nice riding.   Her first one needed a bow thruster to
turn around.
