Hi all,
Just a quick question for you. I have a 1985 Ford Bronco Fullsize. It
has a 9" rear end in it, and I was wondering if there was a way to tell if
it has a Trac Loc in it. I noticed that it came as an option that year
along with the automatic (I don't have this) Quad shocks (I do have these),
front and rear stabilizer bar (I have these), 32gal fuel tank w/ skid plate
( I have this), etc, etc, etc... So, I guess my question is this, is there
a place I can call if I have the VIN and see what the "build sheet" is for
my Bronco? I'd like to know what I have to start with before I start to
make any major changes (Locker especially). Thanks for the answers in
advance and sorry about the rambling.

Should have an axle code on sticker on door frame with GVW & tire pressures.
Also should be a tag on differential with axle ratio, traction lock axles
have a "L" in the number.

I'm not sure if there's an option list sticker in the glove box or not but
you could check there first. Or you could pull the center yourself and have
a look inside.
