I just got new wheels and tires, and I'm about to sell my factory
wheels and the tires that are on them.

5-lug Ranger wheels will bolt up to pretty much any 5-lug Ford
(including F150), right?

More importantly, would they be strong enough for a full-size truck?
If not, I would like to warn someone if they buy them for their F-
series.

Thanks.

Not only are the bolt patterns different (depending on the year), the
Ranger has smaller wheels.  Only an idiot would try to put them on an
F150.

Smaller how?  These are 15" wheels, not the 14s that come on lower-end
Rangers.

F150 97-03 had a minimum size of 16" wheels, 04 up minimum is 17". Also
bolt patterns change in 97 and in 04. Prior to 97 it was 5X5.5". 97-03
is 5x135mm (which is not the same as 5.5"). 04 up is 6x135mm.

No. Ranger wheels use a SMALLER bolt pattern.  5 x 4.5

Nope, all F150s before 97 were 5x5.5", with a few, like the F100s being
55.0". Ranger is 5x4.5"
