2001 crown vic 4.6...suspect fuel injectors are leaking fuel into the

I've seen shade-tree mechanics so injector work, but imho, this might
be something for a professional mechanic.

Before you jump to any conclusions pull the vac. hose off of the fuel
regulator and check for fuel. If the diaphragm in the regulator springs a
leak, fuel will flow past that leak and right into the intake manifold
through that hose. Hard starting when hot is the usual complaint. Let us
know what you find.

check the fuel pump the foot valve leakage not likely all injectors be
leaking
