Can someone tell me whether Wombats live only in Australia,
or also on other continents?

Apart from zoos, of course.

We all know that Wombats are to be found in Zoos.

I suspect they are in your belfry which is firmly stuffed where the sun
don't shine.  That's the only explanation I can see that you posted this
stupid question to all these inappropriate NG's, to which I am also
replying since I don't know which of them you really read.

Yeah, someone can. YOU. Try going to wikipedia.org. Type in "wombat." You
will get the answers you want.

Please don't ask this sort of question to unrelated newsgroups in the
future.
