96 Ford PSD OBD??

Are they OBDII, and can you read engine codes with a regular reader?

Some of the 96's didnt go OBDII till 97. What you really need to look for is
the 16 pin connector under the steering column at the bottom of the dash..

No, the PSD wasn't OBD2 in 1996..... The plug is the same, but that's all.
Not all scanners can communicate with it either....
