Hey there,

Just wondering if anyone has a scan of a 1952/3 wiring diagram for a
customline or Canadian Meteor? (expecially the turn signal switch
wiring)

Thanks!

The wiring on these is simple enough - you might be able to get away
with just a color code chart.  (Don't have one of those either.)

But the entire system is drop-dead simple, here's a few clues to
work with:

You start with the +12V power in from the fuse box, goes through the
turn signal flasher, then to the column turn signal switch.  Brake
light power feed goes from the fuse panel to the brake light switch,
then to the turn signal switch, passes through to both the rear
stop/turn lamps if the turn signal switch is in the neutral position.

Separate turn signal lamp output leads from the turn signal switch
to the front lamps - no brake input, but they might connect to the
Parking Lights circuit in the headlight switch (first notch pull) with
the turn signal switch in the neutral position.  Same theory as the
brake lights, when you go to signal a turn the Parking Lights power is
switched off on that side and they feed it from the Flasher power.

If it does weird things you can isolate it down to a bad power
source, bad switch, or lamp problems - if the lamp grounds go bad, odd
stuff happens that has nothing to do with the switches.
