I have a 1994 Lincolin Continental with Dis Brakes. My problem is that the
rear left wheel brake keeps tighting up and the rim becomes so hot that you
cannot touch it. I know that you take a special tool and turn the piston
on the wheel cylinder in as far as it will go and I have done that. I
still have the problem!
How do I fix this problem?
Thanks,

Sounds like the brake cylinder is seizing. Maybe the seal has become
contaminated with something other than brake fluid (i.e. oil or grease).
Had exactly the same problem myself many years ago with a secondhand car.
Some idiot had topped up the brake fluid resevoir with oil! I just had the
entire braking system replaced in the end.

Hi,
Thank you for your information. I will flush sysem out and put new brake
fluid in and see how that works

Flushing won't work if the seals are already contaminated.
Try bleeding a little fluid from a caliper and see if it
looks/smells/tastes like neat brake fluid first. In my case the fluid
clearly was not pure brake fluid. And flushing didn't work, as the seals
were already swollen by the oil.

Does that car have a foot pedal parking brake? I had the same problem with
my '93 couger, I figured it out when I found the brake cable was damaged and
did not fully release. It was holding the brakes just tight enough to get
very hot.

Could also be binding parking brake cable or collapsed brake line.
