I am trying to found the SPOUT wire.

What I have is a 1995 Ford Thunderbird - V6 - LX not supercoup.

I need to set the timing.

I purchased an Automotive Repair Manual for the car, and it gives
directions on how to set the timing.

But it says I need to "disconnect the SPOUT (Spark Output) connector,
located immediately above the harness connector for the module."

But where is the SPOUT?  And what "module" are they talking about?

Could someone please assist me in finding the SPOUT plug?

Where should I be looking for, in terms of where in the engine
compartment?  And what module is the reference above?  Could someone
guide a dummy <- thats me - through finding the SPOUT.

I've googled it, but I cant find any pictures.  I'm at wits end here
and would appreciate any assitance.

Many thanks in advance!

The TFI (Thick Film Ignition) module. On your year it should be mounted to the
front of the right shock tower. The SPOUT should be a single-wire inline connector,
as they say "immediately above the harness connector".
A few pics here... yours should be similar:

That drawing is of a different car.  I just used it as a generic
picture of what "s18" should be looking for.

Thanks for the help.

As someone else mentioned the pictures are of a completely diffferent
car.  The 1995 Thunderbird has a jumper located on the passanger
fender, next to the test terminal.

The jumper is GREY, and has two pink wires attached to it.

Simply pull jumper to adjust timing, replace jumper when done.
