Haven't seen this talked about before. IF Ford goes bankrupt, what happens
to all the Ford vehicle warranties on vehicles already purchased? What
about pay for extended warranties that were added at time of sale?

That all depends on the bankruptcy details. As a warranty holder, you
would be a creditor. I assume the bankruptcy judge would decide how
warranty claims would be treated. My guess is, if they plan to
reorganize Ford and keep it going as an automaker, the warranties
would be honored. The extended warranties are provided by Ford Motor
Credit, which actually made a profit last quarter. Not sure how Ford
Motor Company going bankrupt would affect Ford Motor Credit, which is
organized as a separate, but wholly owned by FMC company.
Remember this, even when Studebaker quit making cars, the corporation
survived.
