If we were interested, we would go to ebay. Please don't advertise here.

Jeff,
I am assuming you have not been to a Ford dealership lately (or have lots of
money to waste), the diagnostic charges and labour rates are unheard of.  If
you wish to go to Ebay that is fine, you will receive the same CD that I am
offering...that is your choice.  But, if you claim to speak for everyone
frequenting this newsgroup I cannot seem to grasp that concept!  If you are
not interested in my item so be it, but do not waste yours and my time
slandering  my post for your own amusement!  There are other people who may
be interested! If you are so bothered by my post, and have nothing better to
do with your time but to slander other posts, then I suggest you just delete
it if you wish, and keep your comments to yourself!...A**hole

The bottom line is that advertising is against the charter of this
newsgroup.

And if every tom dick and harry with something to sell advertised here, then
the newsgroup would  be full of ads with very little useful information.

And please don't belittle yourself by calling me names.

I have just as much right to express my opinions as you do.

Jeff,
It was not my original intention to make this newsgroup a place of petty
bickering.  I would like to start by apologizing to the group in advance for
wasting valuable storage space and everyones valuable time regarding this
disagreement. You are correct in saying you have a right to express you
opinions, but I am a beliver that if you have nothing helpful to contribute
to the conversation you are just wasting peoples time as you claim I have by
posting this ad for a Ford service manual CD.  Furthermore, if I was
peddling Viagra, pornographic material, or some sort of get rich scheme I
could see your point, I would support your statement 100%.  I am trying to
sell a Ford Technical service manual on a newsgroup where PEOPLE POST
PROBLEMS THEY ARE HAVING WITH FORDS!  Where else would I post it?  I own a
99 mercury cougar and am fustrated with having the same problems everyone
else has and getting raped by the dealership on every visit.  Thus, I
purchased this cd and it has been very helpful in diagnosing problems and
performing maintenance on this vehicle.  This cd costs $15.00 CAD and if
that saves a person 1 trip to the dealer they have probably paid for the cd
10 times over.  Don't get me wrong, I am no saint...of course I am trying to
make a few bucks but it's a free country.  I would like to end this rant by
saying that this does appear to be a uesful newsgroup to get info on Ford
vehicles and I hope to continue to frequent it and help out if I can.
