Do you mean a short circuit or an open circuit? A short circuit
would give an indication by which fuse or circuit breaker trips. An
open circuit would be indicated by what electrical device fails to
operate. You need to give more details to get help.

Which fuse pops, what stops working and most important ,what are you doing
at that time
