Leaks aren't usually too horrible on trannies, UNLESS you run them too
low on fluid. Since it seems to be shifting fine (no slips / slamming
into gear / etc, ) it's probably not hurt.
But there's no bushing for the bellhousing itself... Are you sure you
got the front pump seal all the way in, and not cocked in it's bore?
And are you positive that the leak is coming from the front pump
itself?

Pretty sure the seal bottomed in the bell housing.
I recently read that there is a bushing of some sort that can wear out of
center and be responsable for taking out the front seal.Is it possiable the
torque converter is at fault?

yes yes yes seal is leaking out front .... sounds like an easy fix
right?.... it is but b4 you put seal in install torque convertor and see
how much play is in the front of the trans.... had this b4 on an old
dodge... suspected the previous owner was doin neutral drops... i had
way too much play ... you see an oil seal can only stop leakage.. does
not hold back pressure... so if the bushing or the stub shaft is worn in
the T.C. the oil destined for the inside of the T.C. leaks by the
bushing, hits the seal, there is way to much volume as it worn and then
the seal just leaks....
note if there is too much play ... replace both bushing and T.C. Note 2
If you dont know anything about transmissions pull it out and let a
tranny shop change the bushing the front of the trans (the pump) has to
be removed to perform bushing replacement.
