I bought a 93 Probe fixer upper with not much in need of repair, high miles
but great motor runs smooth. not bad considered I paid only $75 dollars for
it.
But when it rains all this water comes in, half of my head liner gets
saturated with water. in which it also makes my floor wet and my windows fog
up on the inside.
I tried sealing up areas that I thought were the the leaking points, but
haven't been making any progress.

Any ideas? so I can actuely drive this car next spring without drowning?

Have somebody squirt it with a hose while you are inside looking for
the leak.
Look all around the top edge including the windshield. You might have
to seal around the windshield chrome with silicone. At that age there
could be rust under the molding that you don't see.
You might want to pull the headliner down so you can trace the leak
better.

NEVER USE SILICONE ON ANY GLASS THAT IS SEALED WITH URETHANE. THEY ARE NON
COMPATABLE & IT COULD CAUSE A PROBLEM THAT WASN'T THERE BEFORE. I INSTALL
AUTO GLASS FOR A LIVING & HAVE NEVER SEEN A GOOD OUTCOME FROM SEALING WITH
SILICONE. SIKA ULTRA FAST II IS BEST, WITH PROPER PRIMERS & ACTIVATORS,
HEATED TO RECOMMENDED TEMP. THE URETHANE WILL NEVER BREAK DOWN AS LONG AS ITS
NOT EXPOSED TO UV RAYS.

Not a problem.  Just put in a generator operated de-humidifier along with
an in-floor heating system.  Wear a raincoat and you'll be good to go.

DARRELL, I OWN A 1995 PROBE SE WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS. I AM AN NGA CERTIFIED
AUTO TECH IN TEXAS FOR 22 YEARS. I NOTICE THE REAR QTR GLASS PUSH OUT WHEN MY
DAUGHTER SLAMMED THE DOOR FROM PRESSURE. I PULLED THE QTR GLASS & FOUND A
BOND FAILURE ALMOST 3/4 OF THE URETHANE DID NOT BOND TO THE INCAPSULATION
(PLASTIC) ON THE GLASS. I PRIMED THE PLASTIC WITH SIKA'S PRIMER, REMOVED ALL
OLD URETHANE FROM THE BODY, & RE-INSTALLED THE GLASS. NO PROBLEMS NOW. BUT IT
RUINED THE HEADLINER, CARPET FRONT & BACK, TRUNCK COVER & STARTED TO RUST THE
TRUNK.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO THIS YOURSELF. IT WAS NOT EASY &
THE GLASS IS HARD TO FIND & MY COST ON IT IS ABOUT $1,200.00 US. & THATS COST.
.. GOOD LUCK. CORI
