fuse#???

oops i forgot the make and year....duuuuh.ok here it is 2003 ranger xlt
3.0 i need to know what fuse # is for the speedo gauge!!thanx pez

There is no specific fuse for the speedometer.... if you look at your owners
manul, you will see that F2-26 (fuse #26 in the underdash fusebox) powers
several modules including the instrument cluster) but you would notice more
concerns than just the speedometer.

Speedo signal is generated by the OSS, IIRC.... output shaft speed sense.
This goes to the PCM and the PCM shares this info over the network with any
modules that require it.
