Wife had someone stop short in front of her, hit brakes hard..

okay for that stop but after that, broken right side Front to rear line,
leaks like sieve and little or no brakes... even front ones.

No previous indications.  Cant believe NO brakes!

What ELSE am I looking for?

Sorry,

You've been around long enough to know you are in for all new steel lines
and if it were me the brake hoses also.  It's sad when corrosion can attack
so much in ten years !

Happy modeming,

Uh, no....I've seen enough later model cars to just LOOK for clumped-rust
spots, usually where they are protective-coiled...

95 % -at least- of the lines are totally rust free.

That's what that pisses me off about it.

I had to do my mazda truck a few years back for the same problem.
After stout warnings about  doing a good double flair without
experience, i just used stock length pre built fitting  lines from the parts
store and bent them to fit. Had to bend in a small 1/2 circle or such to
adjust the length to fit. I cut the old line and then pre bent out of the car
the new lines as much as i could with a manual tubing bender. Lots of fun,
but i got the job done.
