Do the brakes feel spongy or soft?  Do they stop your vehicle properly?

If you are hearing a hissing noise from under the dash any time the brake
pedal is depressed, I would suspect a faulty brake booster. Check where the
brake pedal puhrod enters the firewall to verify...

Power brake booster needs replaced
