What do you think about the reports that are pulled up by Carfax.com when
you enter your VIN? Would you believe the report if it tells that the
vehicle has a clean bill of records? Who really reports problems with
vehicles listed with Carfax? Are these records accurate?

In a word, no.  You can call a dealership to get a report on any recalls and
it they were completed or not.  You can call your DMV and find if the
mileage is correct etc.and it is free.
