I had the blend motor replaced a couple of years ago, Now its acting up
again, When I move the control from heat to cold or the other way, I can
hear it clicking under the dash. I got it to go to heat for the winter by
pressing on the plastic case with a large screwdriver, Now its time for cool
and I cant get it to go all the way to cold, All I am getting is cool air,
If I move the control a little toward the hot it stops the clicking sound. I
was considering replacement myself, but it looks like a bugger. With the
radio pulled, I could probably get one of the three screws out, , anyone
ever done this,  help

it is easy to to change take the cover around the bottom  off take ashtray
out you dont have to take the radio out i replace them all the time it
take about 30 min to take it apart and take part off and put it back
together when you take the blend motor out look at the heater caseing that
it slides into and make sure that the control door is not broke you can
tell by looking at it will have a complete circle you will know if it is
broken when you look at it i have seen the control door  slot broken cause
sometime you can push the blend motor to get it ingaged and you think that
blend motor is bad when the contril door is bad

Got around to pulling the blend motor today, The motor had a little plastic
gear with a couple of teeth broken. New motor from dealer 59.33 + tax. Was
not too hard at all
Thanks for the reply,
Charlie
