How much did a brand new Impala SS cost back in 1996? What was the MSRP
around and how much below or above MSRP did people pay? Were there any
options to choose from? There seems to be quite a price range for these
cars..people are asking anywhere from $7-8K to 25-30K..Of course condition
of the car is what matters..
Thanks

Invoice $22,331  MSRP $24,405

They came pretty much loaded, not a lot of options.

I mean they did not cost too much brand new...Full size car with v8 engine
and all other goodies cost mid$20s...After almost 10 years, some people are
still asking between $15-20K.

Yup, limited production and low mileage the price will probably climb
higher.

1996 was not the original Impala SS, how about going to 1962 when cars had
real personalty and raw power.

Personality sucks when you need A/C & a good stereo.

I don't think he was saying 1996 Impala SS was the original.
He was asking for original MSRP of a new 1996 Impala SS back in 1996.
