Anyone know why Traction control not available on the Uplander?

Traction Control is listed as Standard equipment but all the vans the
dealers have in stock have a credit due to "Not Available"

Probably either because the item is on back order from the supplier or
they are having trouble with the traction control and don't want to ship
a vehcile with a defective part.
