Toyota. Over the coming years, its relentless onslaught of new models and additional U.S. production facilities could help it gain several more points of market share, currently at 13.2% (combined for Toyota, Scion and Lexus).

Is that your own thought or did you plagiarize someone else?

   Does it really matter?

Since other posters love to throw statistics around like "nerd" balls!

That was to dispel a myth someone earlier that mentioned Toyota's market
share being 25%.

Why didn't you post it to the other thread. What we don't need is another
off topic thread.

In Iceland. Population, 300,000. Average annual income, $40,000USD.
Chevrolet vehicles actually sold in Iceland by a Chevrolet dealer:
Silverado, Colorado, Tahoe, Trailblazer. A base model Silverado in Iceland,
$61,000USD.

Besides GM has a stake in four of the companies you listed.

But who cares.

It's interesting enough.  What are we talking about...sales in the USA,
Europe, global?
I would like to see the global figures for the different named vehicles just
for grins.

American manufactures, generally do not make the small and mini vehicles
that are sold in many poorer counties around the world.  Toyota is the
leading manufacture of those type of small cars and trucks.

Is the UK poor?  Is Canada poor?  Are many European countries poor?
The Toyota Echo/Yaris sells very well in those countries.
