1997 LeSabre -  Oil level is 1 inch above "full" mark

Got oil change and checked it a week later and it's 1 inch above  the "Full"
mark on stick.

How critical is this ???

Overfilled oil is problematic.  Take it back and have it drained to the
proper level.
