Have a significant oil leak. Have put a dye in engine oil seems to be
leaking on oil pressure sending unit and from top of engine near throttle
body. Also leaking above water pump by intake manifold. Put new valve
cover gaskets on. Any thoughts on how to isolate any further-does engine
stop leak work oil additive.

If you can see the points of leakage, why would you need any further
isolation?  Additives like stop leak will only end up causing you bigger
repair bills when you finally take it in to get fixed.
